City authorities are going to create a map of attractions in Moscow

A few days ago, Moscow authorities have estimated the number of roundabouts in the capital, a total number was 203 pieces. The majority of them are situated in Sokolniki (48), Izmailovo Park is on the second place (35), then Lianozovo (33), OCE (18) and Gorky Park (6). The creation of special map will help to monitor the technical condition of the self-propelled machines.

According to the plan, the map of attractions in Moscow will help visitors and residents to better navigate in the city. It is expected that the map will be released on the virtual pages of the city portal, the launch of which is planned in January 2013. Within this project anyone can complain about the uncomfortable and dangerous roundabouts, as well as to inform about the attractions that do not comply with the requirements of the safety standards.

Experts note, the map of attractions is designed to help anyone who wants to quickly find what he needs. All the information can be found in one place. Digital map with the names of roundabouts will show where a roller coaster or other objects of interest are situated.

Before 2011 the main place for entertainment was Gorky Park, where there were 80 rides. But they have been dismantled, and the park is under construction. Now fans of extreme amusement have to go on the outskirts of the capital. Experts hope that this map will attract even more visitors of attractions.

In the future, the map will show attractions located in smaller venues. According to the developers, the map will show only those objects that do not pose a health risk.
