In Google Maps appeared new detailed maps of Russian cities

Famous map service Google Maps has been once again updated. This time the updating concerned the maps of Russian cities.

Internet audience has the opportunity to examine a detailed map of Sochi that will host the Olympic Games in 2014. Also it provides detailed maps of 44 other cities of the Russian Federation, including Anapa, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Novorossiysk, Smolensk, Rostov-on-Don, Khabarovsk, etc.

Google Maps tell you where to find the right street, museum, theater, restaurant, and see the sights of Russian cities. The application allows you to route either from your PC or a Smartphone.

Google has constantly updating its mapping service. In October this year was the most extensive application update: the coverage of Street View was increased, there were panoramic shots of more than 400 000 km of roads added. Thanks to continuous work with maps, Google Maps always has the actual data. This allows the service to leave behind its competitors, including Yandex. However, Yandex is not going to give up their positions and recently presented maps of North America and Europe.
