Google Expands 3D Cities to Europe
Google Earth has expanded its 3D program to select countries in Europe. Now many Google Earth users may use the apps to virtually wander the streets of their dream vacation destinations.
The European program is open to local governments in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and The Netherlands. Google hopes that those governments will upload local data in the hopes of displaying 3D visuals of their cities.Digital cartography and GPS navigation 22-06-2008
