38 ski resorts of Canada and the U.S. appeared on Google maps

Google developers do not cease to update maps. This time they focus on detailed maps of 38 ski areas of the United States of America and Canada.

The first maps of slopes, Google has added on its mapping service in 2012. Back in November 2012, users can download maps of the 90 largest pistes of Europe, USA and Canada.

Now with Google Maps skiing fans can find more reliable information on the European and North American resorts, including such popular as Whistler (Whistler), Panorama (Panorama Mountain), Big Sky (Big Sky), Aspen (Aspen), Squaw Valley (Squaw Valleyi). According to Google representatives, in the future, this list will only grow.

Updated maps have traditional for snowboarders and skiers signs: so slopes, depending on the complexity are marked with black, green and blue lines. Lifts are shown as broken red lines.

Another Google service - Street View has panoramic pictures of Canadian slopes Whistler and Blackcomb.
