Magellan launched topographic maps for its devices
Magellan, a leading developer of GPS equipment in mobile and car navigation, has released detailed travel topographic maps. The novelty will help to quickly orient, choosing a suitable route or search for a recreation place. One can download the maps on the official site of the producer. The subscription price for the year will be about $30.
Updated maps were published under the name of National Geographic TOPO. They include the U.S. Geodetic maps and scanned topographic maps in high quality. These maps display extensive road network. The company offers topographic maps in two scales - Review Version (1:100 000) and detailed (1:24 000) one. Now topographic maps are available for the territory of the United States of America.
Only users of eXplorist net of navigators of the following models: 710, 610, 510, 310 can download the topographic maps. It should be noted that this line of GPS-navigators has a waterproof and shock-proof boot and is ideal for avid hunters, anglers and tourists.
