Yandex presented updated maps of Russian cities

Mapping service Yandex.Maps presented up-to-date maps of several cities of South Russia, including Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Makhachkala, Stavropol, etc.

Thus, updated map of Rostov-on-Don includes 2,400 km of roads, more than 100,000 objects, including newly constructed buildings as well as new scheme of suburbs. Stavropol map depicts 1,500 km of roads and more than 30,000 objects and buildings.

We should also mention the map of Sochi, which contains 2500km of roads and more than 60 000 buildings. The map contains a complete scheme of Krasnaya Polyana, where the Olympic Games will be held in 2014.

More recently, instead of the entire map of Makhachkala, only a general scheme was presented. Now the application demonstrates updated map of Makhachkala with right address to get directions.
