At stops in Varna, Bulgaria posted maps for tourists

At public transport stops in Bulgarian city of Varna tourist maps posted in English and Russian languages. First tourist maps were posted at bus stops near the famous cathedral church of Varna. Gradually, these maps will be hung throughout the city, as well as the coastal resorts.

The map shows the city's attractions, museums and other points of interest that visitors love to visit. Maps help to find the Cathedral of the Dormition Monastery Aladza (rock monastery ruins), Roman baths (ruins of Roman baths dating from the period of Roman rule in the Balkans), the Dolphinarium, a seaside park (was founded over a century ago and extends for several kilometers along the Black Sea coast), Varna archaeological Museum (famous for its collection of ancient Thracian gold). In addition, on maps represent nearby resorts and the local neighborhood.

This project is funded from the budget received as payment of tourist tax. The authorities hope that the maps will allow tourists to easily navigate the city and quickly find objects of interest to them.

Topographic map of Varna demonstrates that this is a port city on the Black Sea coast, in the north-eastern Bulgaria near Romania. In its vicinity are the largest resorts in Bulgaria. Here is mild subtropical climate, excellent cuisine and hospitable people. Not surprisingly, the Varna enjoys continued popularity among British, Romanian and Scandinavian tourists.
